VÄDER KURIOSA - REKORD - VIND

Högsta uppmätta medelvinden (under 1 minut) i en tropisk cyklon är 85 m/s (306 km/h) i bland annat tyfonen Tip 12 oktober 1979 och orkanen Camille 17-18 augusti 1969. "Camille" är den enda kända tropiska cyklonen som nått land med medelvind på 85 m/s (enligt vissa beräkningar var medelvindhastigheten som mest över 90 m/s, över 324 km/h).
